Dallas Rapper D.Tall grew up rapping and producing in the Midwest but didn’t start to gain popularity until his 2014 record with Bay Area Rapper E-40 hopped on his song “Dem Heels” which was the first single for D.Tall that received radio play on a National scale. Atlanta rapper WakaFlocka later joined in on the remix of the single in 2015. “Dem Heels” was the first single off of his debut studio album “Real Real” which sold Nearly 10,000 copies digitally alone.
D.Tall has continued to put out content and grow his fan base while working with some of the industry’s elite talent. “Dem Heels”, “Recruitin”, “Got it” and “Have you ever” which are all songs on the “Real Real” Album were all produced by Grammy Nominated Platinum Producer J-White Did It. J-White Did It is best known for his Platinum singles “Bodak Yellow” and “I like it” for Cardi B.
With the spotlight shining on the Dallas-Fort-worth area due to the recent success of producer’s like J-White Did It, producer S1 and Rapper Yella Beezy, D.Tall is definitely among the next wave of talent to make a national splash out of Texas. 2018 was a good year for D.Tall in terms of productivity and 2019 is set to possibly be the break through year. In November of 2018 D.Tall released “Flex 101” which features H-town rapper Kirko Bangz. They say numbers don’t lie.
